For a few weeks every year, the trails at Mount Rainier National Park explode with vibrant and fragrant wildflowers of all shapes and sizes. With over 260 miles of maintained trails, it’s totally possible to find a quiet & beautifully lush portrait location if you know where (& when) to go.

We met Laura and Drew at the trailhead at 3:30am, and began our hike in the dark with only headlamps lighting the way. Our goal? To reach the Mount Fremont lookout before the sun rose, so they could say their elopement vows with the colorful peak of Mount Rainier lighting up behind them.

As stunning as Acadia National Park, but without all the crowds. Leah & Brandon had this entire stretch of Maine coastline all to themselves for this summer hiking elopement.
