Couples sessions are low pressure, yet adventure forward; designed to make posing and being yourself in front of the camera totally effortless. Perfect for engagements, proposals, or your dream wedding portraits.
I offer location and logistical planning assistance with full adventure sessions.

First, I want to hear all about your dream portrait session! We’ll set up a phone call and get to know each other. We’ll chat about your ideas and your day to help you figure out which package best fits. It’s okay if you’re not totally sure about all of the details yet.
All you need is a date and location to move forward with booking. I’ll ask all sorts of questions meant to better understand both of you and what you envision, so we know how to approach your session.
I want to know what defines your relationship to create images that are authentic to who you and your partner truly are.
All of these little details go into consideration as I help you find the perfect adventure session location. . I'll work with you to maximize the best lighting and incorporate any activities or adventures that really speak to who you are as a couple.
And once you’ve planned your perfect session, all that’s left for you to do is LIVE IT! I’ll be there to guide you with effortless and fun poses and prompts, and maximize the beautiful scenery we're exploring.
You’ll receive a teaser gallery within just a few days, because I simply can’t wait for you to see everything! Your full high-resolution images with be delivered on a gorgeous online gallery, so you can easily share and download your images over and over.

Frequently Asked Questions
I strongly believe that the full story of your wedding or elopement day deserves to be documented, and a few hours simply isn't enough time to do justice to your day.
Trying to fit all the elements of a wedding into just a few hours, ultimately leads to couples feeling rushed or stressed, and I never want your wedding day to have felt like a blur. For this reason, I do not offer wedding coverage under four hours.
If you'd like me to document your wedding day adventures, please refer to my elopement packages or
wedding packages pages!
Note: You are welcome to add a separate adventure session on for the day before or after your wedding package.
For mini adventure sessions, I'll supply you with an amazing list of pre-scouted, easily-accessible locations that we LOVE for shorter adventures.
For full adventure sessions, I can work with you to provide customized location inspiration based on the scenery and activities you'd like to experience during your session.
Although less common for simple portrait sessions, certain locations require additional permits for professional photography.
This is not included in the session package, but I will help you determine if a permit is required, help walk you through the process, or direct you to alternative location options.
I love sharing beautiful places with couples, but this comes with a responsibility to protect the land and leave it as we found it. That way it will be available for future adventuring couples and open for you to revisit not just in a year but for decades to follow!
Leave No Trace guidelines offer the best practices to care for and preserve the space we occupy while out on the trails, and are typically common sense and easy to follow! I'm a firm believer in the ethical stewardship of our public lands and for that reason I am a Leave No Trace certified photographer.

All that is required to book is a date, a location, and a non-refundable 50% retainer.
After that, we're all set! This secures your date.
I'll be there throughout the planning process if you have any questions about location logistics, photography ideas, or anything at all.
To keep my schedule flexible for eloping couples, I typically only book adventure sessions 2-6 months before the session date.
I do not charge travel for any locations already on my travel schedule for the season or near Portland, Oregon.

If any vehicle rentals or tickets are required to reach your location, additional fees may be added.
